Traffic lights are among the most familiar objects in everyday life, guiding millions of drivers and pedestrians through roads and intersections. While the signals appear simple — red for stop, yellow for caution and green for go — the way people perceive and respond to them is influenced by human vision, experience, attention and decision-making.
