Darrell Sheets, best known for his role on the hit reality series Storage Wars, has died at the age of 67. Authorities in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, responded to a call at his residence in the early hours of April 22, where he was found deceased. Police say the death is under investigation, with early reports indicating an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Sheets became one of the most recognizable figures on “Storage Wars,” appearing in more than 160 episodes and earning the nickname “The Gambler” for his high-risk bidding style. He was known for dramatic finds, including valuable artwork and rare collectibles, often appearing alongside his son Brandon on the long-running A&E show.
After stepping away from television in recent years, Sheets relocated to Arizona, where he operated an antique store. Tributes have since poured in from fans and the network, which described him as a beloved member of the “Storage Wars” family.
