Sheets became one of the most recognizable figures on “Storage Wars,” appearing in more than 160 episodes and earning the nickname “The Gambler” for his high-risk bidding style. He was known for dramatic finds, including valuable artwork and rare collectibles, often appearing alongside his son Brandon on the long-running A&E show.
After stepping away from television in recent years, Sheets relocated to Arizona, where he operated an antique store.
