Two scheduled Las Vegas performances by Rod Stewart at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace were canceled after the singer was advised by doctors not to perform, according to venue and ticketing updates. The cancellations affect the latest dates in Stewart’s long-running presence on the Las Vegas Strip.

Ticketing platforms and local media reports showed Stewart’s May 29 and May 30 performances at Caesars Palace listed as canceled, while representatives cited medical advice as the reason for the decision. The singer, who is 81, has experienced previous interruptions to scheduled performances because of health-related concerns in recent years.
The canceled concerts were part of Stewart’s continuing Las Vegas appearances at The Colosseum, a venue that has hosted major residency productions from some of the music industry’s biggest performers. Stewart has remained one of the venue’s most recognizable headliners since beginning his residency more than a decade ago.

The latest cancellations come amid broader concerns about touring demands on veteran performers, many of whom have adjusted schedules because of health issues or recovery needs. Neither Caesars Entertainment nor Stewart’s representatives immediately provided details about rescheduled dates, refunds, or the specific nature of the medical issue prompting the cancellations.
