Burger King is testing a new “King Size Sliders Box” in select U.S. cities, offering customers the chance to mix and match mini flame-grilled burgers in a limited-time rollout starting mid-April 2026.
Burger King’s new King Size Sliders Box is being tested in select U.S. cities, offering a mix-and-match mini burger experience.
Burger King is expanding its menu experimentation with a new limited-time offering called the King Size Sliders Box, currently being tested in Portland, Oregon, and Columbus, Ohio.
The test launch begins April 14, 2026, and runs for a short window through early-to-mid May, depending on the market, giving customers a chance to build customizable boxes of mini burgers designed for variety and sharing.

The new menu item allows diners to choose either a two-slider or six-slider box, mixing and matching from three new flavors:
Deluxe Slider – flame-grilled beef, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and tangy burger aioli
Steakhouse Bacon Slider – bacon, Swiss cheese, crispy onions, and peppercorn sauce
Bacon & Cheese Slider – bacon, American cheese, and burger aioli
Burger King describes the concept as a way to give customers “more variety, more flexibility and no tough choices” in a single meal format.
The new sliders focus on flame-grilled flavour in smaller portions as Burger King experiments with menu variety.
The launch reflects a broader fast-food trend toward customisable, shareable meals. Instead of choosing one burger, customers can sample multiple flavours in one order.
The company is also positioning the sliders as a size in-between a traditional slider and a full burger, aiming to appeal to customers who want smaller portions without losing the brand’s flame-grilled signature taste.
Initial reports from test markets suggest strong curiosity, with some early tasters noting the sliders are “slightly larger than expected” and come with generous toppings, though pricing has sparked debate among customers discussing value versus portion size.
