Police investigate the fatal shooting of a father and his infant son in St James.
A 25-year-old man and his 11-month-old son were shot and killed during a home invasion in Dundonald Hill, St James.
According to police reports, the attack occurred around 1 a.m. when a gunman approached the house and fired multiple shots through a bedroom window, striking both victims as they lay in bed.
Both were taken to hospital but were pronounced dead shortly after.
The deceased have been identified as Joseph Sutton and his son, Jayden Sutton, who was 11 months old.
Investigators are examining whether the killing was targeted. Reports indicate that Joseph Sutton had been involved in a prior shooting incident weeks earlier and survived.
