Pakistan fightback and take advantage on day three after Greaves five-for

Pakistan clawed their way back into the first Test against West Indies on Monday, responding with the ball after Justin Greaves' historic five-wicket haul had given the hosts a first-innings lead. Greaves ripped through Pakistan's batting with five successive wicket maidens, becoming the first bowler in Test history to achieve the feat, as Pakistan were dismissed for 282 in reply to West Indies' 311. Despite trailing by 29 runs, Pakistan's seamers ensured the home side could not pull away in the contest.

Mohammad Abbas led Pakistan's response with disciplined bowling, while his fellow seamers struck regularly to reduce West Indies from a position of relative comfort to 126 for 7 by the close.
