Trinidad and Tobago Police Service officers executed court-authorized search warrants on June 24 at properties linked to businessman Dominic Hadeed, including his Westmoorings residence, a Trincity commercial complex associated with Blue Waters, and additional business premises as part of an ongoing investigation. Hadeed and his wife were detained during the operation and are assisting investigators, with no charges laid at this stage.
Investigators also searched business premises linked to Blue Waters in Trincity.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service said the warrants were issued by the Supreme Court of Judicature and carried out as a standard investigative procedure. Officers conducted searches at both residential and corporate sites, while officials stressed that the detentions do not constitute evidence of wrongdoing. The TTPS emphasized that all actions were carried out under judicial authority and in accordance with legal procedures governing search operations.
Authorities have not disclosed the specific nature of the investigation, which remains active. Police said no conclusions should be drawn while inquiries continue and added that further details cannot be released at this stage as investigators assess information gathered during the searches. The case has drawn attention due to the high-profile nature of the business interests involved, though officials have not confirmed any allegations or charges connected to the operation.
