Czechia took the lead through a second-half header from Ladislav Krejčí before South Korea responded quickly. Hwang In-beom equalised with a composed finish after sustained pressure from midfield. Substitute Oh Hyeon-gyu later scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute from a low cross. The result puts South Korea in a strong position early in the group stage.
