Spain, Switzerland and Portugal secured places in the Round of 16 with wins over Austria, Algeria and Croatia as the knockout stage continues across North America.

Switzerland defeated Algeria 2-0 in Vancouver, with early and second-half goals sealing a controlled performance that carried them into the last 16. Spain followed with a 3-0 win over Austria in California, while Portugal produced a late comeback to beat Croatia 2-1 in Toronto, overturning a deficit with a penalty and a stoppage-time winner.

Portugal will face Spain in a standout Round of 16 clash in Dallas on July 6. Switzerland move on to meet the winner of Ghana vs Colombia in their next knockout fixture on July 7.
