The F-15s were subsequently returned to service, according to the reports. No American deaths were reported in the Jordan strikes. The attack followed U.S. strikes on five Iranian oil tankers on Tuesday, which Washington said were carried out in response to Iranian missile attacks against an American Navy warship.
