U.S. Launches New Strikes on Iran as Conflict Escalates

U.S. military officials said the latest operations targeted Iranian military infrastructure, including air defenses and facilities associated with drones and other weapons. The latest escalation has also disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and pushed oil prices higher, increasing concerns about the wider economic effects of the conflict.
