A high-stakes meeting in the Great Hall of the People yields a massive $30 billion Boeing contract, but Chinese President Xi Jinping issues a "stark" warning to Donald Trump over Taiwan stability.

As President Donald Trump wrapped up his whirlwind visit to Beijing this Friday, the diplomatic results revealed a stark contrast between economic cooperation and military tension.
Trump boasted on social media that President Xi Jinping had "congratulated me on so many tremendous successes," a personal rapport that seems to have paved the way for a major commercial win: a commitment from Beijing to purchase 200 Boeing jets.
However, the private discussions were far more somber. Chinese officials confirmed that Xi issued an unusually harsh admonition, warning that mishandling the "self-ruled island" of Taiwan could hurtle the two superpowers toward "clashes and even conflicts."
While the trade deal provides a temporary boost for U.S. manufacturing, the unresolved issues surrounding the Taiwan Strait and China's role in the ongoing Iran conflict remain significant hurdles for the administration's "America First" diplomacy.
