Rihanna

Pop star Rihanna’s Beverly Hills-area mansion was struck by gunfire on Sunday afternoon while she was at home, Los Angeles police and multiple reports say.

What happened:
• Around 1:15–1:21 p.m. local time on March 8, 2026, Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the pop star’s residence in the upscale Beverly Crest/Post Office neighborhood after reports of shots fired near the property.
• A 30‑year‑old woman allegedly fired multiple rounds from inside a vehicle at the home, according to law enforcement sources. Police radio traffic indicated about 10 shots were fired from a vehicle — described in dispatch audio as a white Tesla — parked across the street from the mansion’s gate.
• At least one bullet penetrated a wall of the house, and other rounds hit exterior parts of the property and vehicles in the driveway.

Rihanna and her family were unharmed:
Officials confirm that Rihanna was inside the home at the time, but nobody was injured in the incident. It remains unclear whether her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three young children were present.

Suspect detained, investigation ongoing:
The woman suspected of firing at the mansion fled briefly after the shooting but was located and taken into custodyby police in a nearby area shortly after the 911 call, authorities said. A weapon believed to be involved in the shooting was recovered.
No motive has been publicly disclosed, and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery‑Homicide Division is handling the investigation.

Context:
Rihanna, the globally known Barbadian singer and businesswoman, and A$AP Rocky own the multimillion‑dollar estate where the incident occurred. Neither the singer nor her representatives have issued a public statement as of this writing, and police have released limited details on the suspect’s identity or motive.
